Stone Appraisals, LLC was formed in 2000.  I have years of experience in the valuation of conservation easements, along with wildlife habitat, agricultural, scenic and other easements, as well as rural lands of all types.  This includes  appraising agricultural lands, wetlands, woodlands, rural residential properties, waterfront properties and recreational tracts.   
Clients include the State of Wisconsin DNR (along with other state agencies), county and local municipalities, various local and national land trusts and non-profit conservation organizations as well as private individuals and companies.

I have 20 years of appraisal experience and am licensed with State of Wisconsin as a Certified General Appraiser (No. 1338-10).  I am an Associate Member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA), having served on the Wisconsin Chapter board, including as a past President.

 I've taken courses through the ASFMRA, Appraisal Institute and American Society of Appraisers as well as other organizations and schools.  I've completed the Valuation of Conservation Easements Certificate Program and the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions (Yellow Book) and Eminent Domain courses.   I graduated from the University of Wisconsin.    


Stone Appraisals, LLC started out as a family business in 2000.  With Paul retiring at the end of 2015 it continues as an individual business, though he continues to advise me from time to time.
